A. Personal and Business Data
While using our Service, you may provide us with the following information to facilitate event management and booking:
Business Details: Business Name, Phone Number, Address, and GST Number (Optional).
Customer Information: Customer Name, Phone Number, and Event Address.
Booking Details: Event Type, Date, Venue, and Specific Instructions/Notes.
Financial Records: Payment amounts received, pending dues, and payment history.
B. Media and Files
The app allows you to upload a Business Logo. This requires access to your device’s gallery or camera. This image is stored locally on your device or in your private cloud storage if cloud sync is enabled.
2. Permissions Required
To provide full functionality, Event Booking Pro requires the following permissions on your Android device:
1. Storage Access (Read/Write): Required to save and retrieve the booking database, export CSV reports, and generate PDF Booking Confirmations.
2. Media Images: Required specifically for selecting and displaying your business logo on the app dashboard and generating PDFs.
3. Biometric/Fingerprint: If you enable the App Lock feature, the Service uses your device’s secure biometric hardware to authenticate access. We do not store your actual biometric data; we only receive a success/fail confirmation from the OS.
3. Data Storage and Security
Local Storage: Currently, all booking and customer data is stored in a secure SQLite database on your local device.
Cloud Synchronisation: If you utilise the Google Sign-In or Cloud Sync features (powered by Firebase), your data is encrypted and stored securely on Google’s Cloud servers.
Security Measures: We value your trust in providing us with your Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it.
But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
4. Third-Party Services
The Service may employ third-party companies and individuals for the following reasons:
* To facilitate our Service (e.g., Firebase for Cloud Sync).
* To provide the Service on our behalf.
* To assist us in analysing how our Service is used (e.g., Google Analytics).
These third parties may have access to your Personal Information to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.
5. Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do the necessary action.
